Terms of Use (End User License Agreement)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Fair Share ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download, install, and use the App on your iOS device for your personal, non-commercial use
• Access and use the App's features and services as intended

3. Description of Service

Fair Share is a family calendar and task management application that helps families:

• Share and coordinate family calendars and events
• Manage and distribute household tasks
• Track mental load distribution among family members
• Collaborate on family responsibilities

4. User Accounts

To use Fair Share, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

5. Subscription Terms

Family Plan Subscription ($2.99/month):

• Subscriptions are billed monthly through your Apple ID account
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
• Canceling a subscription stops future charges but doesn't provide refunds for the current period
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription

6. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on others' intellectual property rights
• Upload malicious code or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the App
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, available at:

8. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Fair Share and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for:

• Violations of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Extended periods of inactivity

You may terminate your account at any time through the App's settings or by contacting us at thequietos1@gmail.com.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of information obtained through the App

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FAIR SHARE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Posting the new Terms in the App
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending you a notification (for material changes)

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Apple-Specific Terms

These terms apply to your use of the App on iOS devices:

• These Terms are between you and Fair Share, not Apple
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App
• Apple is not responsible for any product warranties
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them
